Lives Lemonade

Its been a while since I last posted but a lot have been going on. I have been dealing with a divorce and now I am busy trying to get it all finished up so I can settle down and marry the love of my life. We met back early this year and it was love at first sight. He is someone i can be myself with and he makes very happy. We have our ups and downs but always come out on top. Getting my life back on track has been hard but it is something I have worked out more then any one will every know.

Other then a new boyfriend and losing my husband, i also lost custody of one of kids to his father. My oldest son deiced that he wanted to live with his daddy instead of me. That have been one of the hardest things for me to deal with because is feels like a part of me is miss now and I know how what to think. He tells me it ain't because he loves me less just he feel it is better for him to be with his daddy. And yes he is right just makes me realize how smart my 9 year really is. Every day he amazes me in some new way.

But life is good with me, my boyfriend, and my youngest son. I get to spend a lot of time with my 8 year which he loves more then anything because he has always been a big momma's boy. He says it is like his is a only child now that his brother lives with daddy. Both my boys are so smart, I wonder all the time how i got so lucky to have been blessed with two very smart little boys.

Time To Get My Blog Running Again....

It's been a while since I was on here and I have a lot of down time now so I thought why not get my blog back up and running.

This post is going to be short but here is the what has been going on in my life since my last post.

I currently in the middle of a divorce which is no fun at all because I really thought nothing would break me and him up but guess I was fooled. He has moved back to Memphis where he not lives with his girlfriend and they are raising my kids right now. I was left in a really bad place after he left me and I am not having the best of luck bouncing back from it. So I asked him to take the kids until I was stable enough to have them back home.

Good news I finally finished school and now have my degree. The bad news it I can't find a job in my field to save my life. Every where I apply has one excuse or another of why I can't be hired. It is starting to get old that there are so many unemployed people out here and these businesses what to be so picky about the people they hire. I call bullshit on the whole thing to be honest.

Other then that my life is going and I am making it day by day.

Review: Barts Cookies

I love cookies! For me, it is the ultimate sweet snack. Whenever, I need to curb my sweet tooth's appetite, I go for cookies. Chocolate chip cookies are always a great choice, because it is something that almost everyone can agree on. Personally, I love to explore different variations of ingredients in my cookies. My husband has always loved macadamia nuts. I am always open to try new cookies as our my kids. But what kids don't like cookies no matter the out come you know they will eat them.

Since, I love cookies so much, I decided to contact Bart Smith, also known as the maker of the world's best cookies. I asked him if I could get my hands on some of his world famous cookies for review. He was generous enough to send me some of his Peanut Butter Milk Chocolate Cookies and Macadamia and White Chocolate Chip Cookies.

When I got the cookies, I was so happy. They where soft and smooth. They where just right. I mean I was in peanut butter heaven with my cookies as was my husband with his macadamia cookie. My kids really love them as well. My husband said we are sure to order more from Bart's because of the texture of the cookie and the quality taste they have. They reminded me of the cookies my grandmother use to bake.

After they tried his cookies, they would come back with "How could we not want to work with you?" This brought him to writing a book on networking. He has now written many self-help books, runs several websites, and sells his famous cookies online. 

The different types of cookies that he makes are pretty simple. Dark Chocolate Chip, Milk Chocolate Chip, Dark + Milk Chocolate Chip Combo, Peanut Butter Milk Chocolate Chip, White Chocolate Chip, White Chocolate Chip + Macadamia Nuts. Pretty much all of your classic cookies. They also have a gluten free option for all of the cookies.

For most folks, my regular chocolate chip cookies are what they crave. Time and time again, people find them so addictive! Who can just eat one? No one!
