Review & Giveaway: Brownie Brittle

If your family is anything like mine and I can just picture that they are because I don't know one kid that don't like brownies. Brownies are a much wanted treat in the home.  Everyone gets over joyed for the brownies and swiftly consumes them when mom gets in the kitchen to make them.  Hardly anything is left in the pan, including the crunchy edges. My two boys and my husband can eat them quicker then I can pull them out of the oven.

Sheila G. Mains has perfected creating tasty brownie brittle that resembles the crispy edges of brownies.  In other words, she's made a confection that doesn't require cooking up a whole batch of brownies just to get a taste of the edges.

Brownie Brittle comes in three flavors - Chocolate Chip, Toffee Crunch, and Traditional Walnut - with only 100 calories per serving.  They are crunchy pieces of brownie cookie that come packaged in a resealable bag. They have a light, airy crunch and are very similar to the taste of real brownie edges.  When eating the brownie brittle, it does tend to leave crumbs all over the place but it's worth it for the taste. Trust my husband took some to work and sitting down eating them in the break room and some of his buddies at work was coming up and stealing a piece from him ever so often. He had a few of the workers ask where it came from and of course he called me to get the website.

Sheila G Mains
In 1992, Sheila G. Mains, better known in the food business as Sheila G, took a treasured family recipe for fudge brownies and baked her way into a thriving business. You may even have tasted one of her rich, dense squares of heaven at some of our nation’s finest restaurants and theme parks. So, where exactly did the inspiration for her scrumptious new snack brownie brittle come from?
Like many brownie aficionados, Sheila is particularly fond of the crispy edges. In fact, on many an afternoon she would walk through the bakery gathering the brittle batter off the sides of the sheet pans as the brownies cooled in their racks. It had that same rich chocolate taste, but with an amazing crunch. That started her wondering: How could she create a whole pan of crunchy edges?  Well, lucky for us, she figured it out! Now you too can satisfy your sweet tooth in a snap with Sheila G’s Brownie Brittle!
